90'S LOOK NAIL ART

Materials:

Base and top coats;

White, black, pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple neon nail polishes;

Striper brush.

Method:

1. Start by applying your base coat. I always apply a white background to bring out the colours on top. Let it dry.

2. On the top and bottom of your nail apply random strokes using a striper brush loaded with black nail polish.
3. As you did in step 2, using the remaining colours apply left to right strokes . It's ok to overlap colours, as it will create other interesting shades.
4. If necessary apply more black strokes.
5. Apply your top coat to protect the design.

This design was inspired by Robin Moses's video.

FUNKY NAIL ART version 2

This was another spontaneous design.

Materials:

Base and top coat;

White and black nail polishes;
Nail art pens in shimmering pink, bright pink, orange, metalic blue, red, green and yellow (make sure they are bright colours);

A striper brush.

Method:

1. Apply base coat, and then apply the white background colour on all your nails. (The white colour is applied so that it brings out the colours on top.) Allow to dry.

2. Using the striper brush, start by drawing random black lines on every nail. Let it dry.

3.Fill in the spaces with random colours.
4. Allow everything to dry and apply your top coat.

FUNKY NAIL ART version1

This was a spontaneous design. I started doodling on my nails and this is the final result. So giving instructions how to do this is quite difficult.

Materials:

Base and top coat;

Turquoise and black nail polishes;
Nail art pens in shimmering pink, dark blue, purple and yellow)

A striper brush.

Method:

1. Apply base coat, and then apply the turquoise background colour on all your nails. Allow to dry.

2. Using the striper brush, start by drawing random black lines on every nail. Let it dry.

3.Fill in the spaces with random colours.
4. Allow everything to dry and apply your top coat to protect the design.
